Dear friends & family,
While many couples registered their marriage on 9 Sep 09 (the number implied “forever & ever”!), Trinity Soup Kitchen kicked off its once-per-week distribution on the same day, filled with renewed hope and joy that the mission will be a sustainable one 
!
To start with, we had many volunteers. From marketing, kitchen work to distribution, we were blessed with enthusiastic and devoted helpers who put in “labour of love” to make the day a superb one! Not only did they put in “labour of love”, they would recommend ways to improve the processes and are prepared to contribute new kitchen appliances to replace the “used” ones (Thanks, James & Iris 
).
In total, we served 403 bowls of hot meal, distributed 100 packets of chicken rice, 150 apples (Thank You, Dr Yeo, for your contribution!), 240 bread loaves, 80kg of potatoes, 150 packets of biscuits and coffee/tea sachets. It was truly uplifting to know that an estimated 700 workers were provided with some food. Hip Hip, Hooray
