Dear friends & family,
Am pleased to bring you the latest on our weekly distribution, held on 16 Sep 09.
The kitchen team was ultra efficient – from preparation of the sambar paste to the signature dhall – every stage was carried out in a seamless manner. We were puzzled (but not for long!) as we realised it had to be the magic touch of aunty Alice! She was back in the kitchen with us and what a difference that made 
! The kitchen team is also equipped with a new 8-litre rice cooker (Thanks, Dennis); this is a big relief as the old rice cooker is a “dinosaur”!
In addition, we have received blessings in the form of donations. With our weekly distribution in place, the donations couldn’t have come at a better time:
- $3,950 cash donations from the Church of St. Anthony (Thank you, Fr Terence 
)
- 400 cans of sardines, 400 cans of baked beans, 160 packs of instant noodles and 400 packets of 5kg rice (Thank you, Mrs Tan 
)
In total, we served 406 bowls of hot meal, distributed over 350 curry puffs/croissant, 80kg of potatoes (Thanks, Melissa), 300 cans of baked beans and 200 cans of sardines. C’est superb!
